Anyone who has a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university or college may apply for admission to ASU's Graduate College. Students are expected to have completed undergraduate coursework similar to that required for Bachelor degrees at ASU. To be admitted to the Master of Science in Recreation and Tourism Studies students must have a GPA of 3.0 or equivalent in the last two years of undergraduate studies.

International applicants are additionally required to submit TOEFL scores and a financial guarantee statement. The Graduate College application evaluation process takes approximately four weeks before a file is processed and forwarded to the Graduate Program Director.
Only complete application files will be reviewed and considered for admission. All of these data points will be evaluated as a whole to determine admission.
